Cashmere (or Pashm, pashmina in Persian/Urdu) is said to have been manufactured in Mongolia, Nepal and Kashmir for thousands of years from goat hair/wool…, labeled by the French in the 1800’s as “Laine de Perse…” and Cashmere by the British…   In 2017 I began working on digital renditions (“mixed media”) of many of my designs and I am very happy with the result.
