Cashmere (or Pashm, pashmina in Persian/Urdu) is said to have been manufactured in Mongolia, Nepal and Kashmir for thousands of years from goat hair/wool…, labeled by the French in the 1800’s as “Laine de Perse…”
and Cashmere by the British…
 
In 2017 I began working on digital renditions (“mixed media”) of many of my designs and I am very happy with the result. Selected “design stories” arereproduced in, (what I hope will be), beautiful Cashmere and Cashmere and Silk shawls…
 
 The Bird (1996); the Flower (with silk cord) (1996); The Flower -5 petals, (1992); the Tiger (1997); the letter openers, “Dove,” “Sleeping Bird, “ and “DryWood,” were carved in wax and the models cast in Sterling Silver in 2003.
